They are very young, they are teenagers. Age will be seventeen or eighteen. At this age, they are supposed to be in school or college, and at that age, they are engaged in a heinous job. They are now makers of petrol bombs! An order to make petrol bombs comes to them. And according to that, petrol bombs are made from bottles. Another 1000 taka was given to make a petrol bomb. RAB recovered 65 petrol bombs, 4 cocktails and bomb-making spices from the two teenagers in the picture. These two arrested teenagers are Murad and Sajibul Islam Sajib.
Wing Commander ATM Habibur Rahman, Director of RAB's Legal and Media Branch, told the media that a raid was conducted in a room of a house in Mansoorabad area of Adabar last Sunday night. There are 4 cocktails available. At that time Murad and Sajib were arrested by RAB as they were involved in the process of making, storing and supplying bombs.
Later, according to the information received from them during the interrogation, a raid was conducted at Sherebangla Road in Hazaribagh at around 12:30 pm. There, 65 petrol bombs and various items were found on the ground floor of the building under construction. During preliminary interrogation, the arrested persons admitted that they used to make and supply bombs in exchange for money. However, it is said that they do not have any political identity.
According to bomb experts, the recovered petrol bomb was powerful and was likely to cause massive damage if exploded. Besides, many more bombs could be made with the salvaged material. The future generation of the country is engaged in heinous activities like killing people today for the sake of some selfish people in our society.
Not only that, in the last two months, RAB recovered about 1500 cocktails and petrol bombs in raids across the country including the capital.
One of the biggest issues is that children and teenagers are being used in such immoral activities and their teenage life is being taken to a terrible end. As a nation we can never allow this to happen. At the age when these children and teenagers are supposed to be addicted to reading and writing, they are turning into killing machines. We all hope that we never have to see such a story again.
