Fear of the rise of a third political force?

Sarwar Alam বাংলাদেশের রাজনীতিতে আবারও তৃতীয় রাজনৈতিক শক্তির উত্থানের আশংকা করছে সরকারের একটি প্রভাবশালী গোয়েন্দা সংস্থা। ওই সংস্থাটি এমন আভাস দিয়ে বলেছে, গতানুগতিক রাজনীতি ও বিদ্যমান বড় দুটি রাজনৈতিক দলের বাইরে ব্ল–ব্যান্ড কল, সিটিজেন মুভমেন্ট ফর ডেমোক্রেসি অ্যান্ড হিউম্যান রাইটস, সচেতন নাগরিক কমিটি (সনাক) ও ইয়থ এনগেজমেন্ট অ্যান্ড সাপোর্ট (ইয়েস)- এই চারটি সংগঠনের সমন্বয়ে তৃতীয় রাজনৈতিক শক্তির আবির্ভাব হতে পারে। ইতিমধ্যে ওইসব সংগঠন সমাবেশ ও সম্মেলন করে রাজনীতির মাঠে প্রবেশের আগাম বার্তা জানিয়ে দিয়েছে। এক সপ্তাহ আগে গোয়েন্দারা একটি রিপোর্ট তৈরি করে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়কে অবহিত করেছেন। তৃতীয় শক্তি রুখতে গোয়েন্দারা কিছু সুপারিশও করেছেন।

According to intelligence sources, at the beginning of 2011, known as the 'Arab Spring', the movement to overthrow the government in the entire Arab world began in each country and new governments were formed. The movement known as the Arab Spring was organized through the Internet and Facebook. In continuation of this, Mahi B., the leader of the alternative trend in Bangladesh. Under the leadership of Chowdhury, the Internet and Facebook-centric organization Blue-Band Call was formed. Prominent lawyer barrister Rafiq Ul Haque, Dr. Citizen Movement for Democracy and Human Rights was formed under the leadership of Shahdin Malik and politician Mahmudur Rahman Manna. Later, under the banner of civic unity, TIB's inspiration was formed in the name of civic movement for democracy and human rights, namely Sanak and Youth Engagement and Support (YES). Their aim is to unite citizens disaffected by the activities of the two major political parties on any issue and establish them as a factor in the political arena. However, social and political figures and influential groups are coming together on different platforms on the same issue. But the people who come together on these platforms have different objectives. Some of the leaders who left all the big political parties and formed small parties, expelled from the party, inactive in the party for various reasons or cornered in the party are joining these platforms to sustain their political existence or wish for the emergence of a third force. Various sympathizers and supporters of the military-backed long-term caretaker government are taking advantage of the current political instability to once again seek the rise of a third force. Some politicians with principles and ideals are welcoming the rise of a third force to build a happy and beautiful Bangladesh. Political leaders and dignitaries of various viewpoints stand on different platforms seeking a change beyond the ongoing two-party political cycle.

গোয়েন্দা রিপোর্টে বলা হয়েছে, গত বছরের শুরুর দিকে মাহী বি. চৌধুরী ও ড. শাহদীন মালিক ইন্টারনেট ও ফেসবুককেন্দ্রিক সংগঠন ব্ল–ব্যান্ড কল গড়ে তোলেন। একই বছরের ২২ ও ২৩ মার্চ তারা কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করেন। আইন-শৃংখলা বাহিনীর শক্ত অবস্থানের কারণে ব্লু-ব্যান্ড কল ভালোভাবে সংগঠিত হতে পারেনি এবং সরকার পতনে কোন আন্দোলন গড়ে তুলতে পারেনি। গত বছরের ২৮ নভেম্বর জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে বর্ষীয়ান আইনজীবী ব্যারিস্টার রফিক উল হক ও আওয়ামী লীগের সাবেক কেন্দ্রীয় নেতা মাহমুদুর রহমান মান্নার নেতৃত্বে সিটিজেন মুভমেন্ট ফর ডেমোক্রেসি নামে একটি সংগঠনের আত্মপ্রকাশ ঘটে। চলতি বছরের ১ জুন ওই সংগঠনের ব্যানারে বাংলাদেশ ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ইন্সটিটিউটে নাগরিক সমাবেশ অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ওই সমাবেশে ঘোষণা করা হয়, আগামী তিন মাসের মধ্যে নাগরিক আন্দোলন নামে একটি কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হবে এবং তৃতীয় শক্তির রাজনৈতিক প্লাটফর্ম যাত্রা শুরু করবে। একই দিন বঙ্গবন্ধু আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রে টিআইবির অনুপ্রেরণায় সনাক ও ইয়েস-এর দু’দিনব্যাপী জাতীয় সম্মেলন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ওই সম্মেলনে দেশের ৪৫টি অঞ্চলের ২৭৫০ জন সদস্য উপস্থিত ছিলেন। দু’দিনের সম্মেলনে টিআইবির ট্রাস্টি বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান ও তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারের সাবেক উপদেষ্টা সুলতানা কামাল, হাফিজ উদ্দিন, টিআইবির নির্বাহী পরিচালক ইফতেখারুজ্জামান প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তৃতীয় রাজনৈতিক শক্তির উত্থানের ব্যাপারে গোয়েন্দা সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে সরকারকে বেশ কিছু সুপারিশও করা হয়েছে। ভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক মেরুকরণ বা পরিবর্তনের মাধ্যমে জনগণের আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষার প্রতিফলনে প্রত্যাশী সৎ রাজনৈতিক নেতারা রাজনৈতিক সংলাপ, পলিসি ডায়ালগ, মতবিনিময়, রাজনৈতিক পর্যালোচনাসহ যে কোন আঙ্গিকে আলোচনায় বসে তাদের অভিযোগ ও পরামর্শ গ্রহণ করে সরকারকে গঠনমূলক পরামর্শ দেয়া যেতে পারে। সৎ ও আদর্শবান গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তি ও রাজনীতিকদের উত্থাপিত সমস্যা সমাধানের প্রচেষ্টার মাধ্যমে তাদের ওইসব প্লাটফর্ম নিষ্ক্রিয় করে দলছুট রাজনৈতিক তৃতীয় শক্তির উত্থানে সচেষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের শক্তিহীন করে দেয়া যেতে পারে। সরকার দলীয় বহিষ্কৃত, নিষ্ক্রিয় ও কোণঠাসা নেতৃবৃন্দকে দলের বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডে কম-বেশি অংশগ্রহণ করিয়ে তাদেরও তৃতীয় শক্তির উত্থানের প্রক্রিয়া থেকে বিরত রাখা যেতে পারে। তৃতীয় শক্তির উত্থানে স্বাগত জানানো সদ্য গঠিত প্লাটফর্মের নেতৃবৃন্দের সঙ্গে সেনাবাহিনীর সাবেক ও বর্তমান কর্মকর্তাদের যোগাযোগ, বিভিন্ন বিদেশী মিশনের কূটনীতিকদের সঙ্গে কিংবা অন্য কোন বিদেশীর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় কি না এ ব্যাপারে গোয়েন্দা নজরদারি করার পরামর্শ দেয়া হয়েছে। (সৌজন্যেঃ দৈনিক যুগান্তর)
