HSC Exam Results Released The average pass rate is 78.67 percent. 61 thousand 162 people got GPA-5

Dhaka Times Desk This year's HSC exam results have been published. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid officially handed over the results to the Prime Minister on 18th morning.

Last year, 75.08 percent students passed the HSC and equivalent exams. 39 thousand 759 people got GPA 5. As such, the number of students who obtained full GPA has increased by 3.95 percent. And the pass rate increased by 3.59 percentage points.

It is known that this time the pass rate is highest in Sylhet board, 85.37 percent. Besides, 81.89 percent of students passed in Dhaka Board, 72.29 percent in Chittagong, 66.98 percent in Barisal, 74.56 percent in Comilla, 67.87 percent in Jessore, 75.41 percent in Dinajpur and 78.44 percent in Rajshahi. On the other hand, the pass rate in Madrasa Board is 91.77 percent this time. And 84.32 percent students have passed the technical board.

This year 9 lakh 26 thousand 814 students participated in HSC and equivalent exams from April 1 to June 6 across the country. Among them 7 lakh 21 thousand 979 passed. Among them, the pass rate of female students is 89.19 percent, and 78.23 percent for male students. All have passed in 1 thousand 36 institutes this year. No candidate could pass in 24 institutes.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the results of Rajshahi College and Rajshahi Mahila College through internet from Ganobhaban after learning the results from the education minister and board chairmen.
