Dhaka Times Desk President Zillur Rahman called upon everyone to implement the grand plan to solve the autism problem.
He made this call during a meeting at Bangabhaban on July 18. President Zillur Rahman called on wealthy individuals and related organizations to come forward to implement a master plan for autism as the internationally renowned autism expert Saima Hossain involved herself in the regional campaign to deal with the neurological problems of children.
Saima Hossain said, Global Autism Public Health (GAPH) Bangladesh is working to organize a regional conference on this issue to determine the common goals of the countries in the region to solve the problem of autism in the South Asian region.
GAPH Bangladesh National Advisory Committee President Saima Hossain Committee Vice President and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pran led the 32-member delegation, including Gopal Dutta and Autism Speaks Director Michael Rosenoff.
President Zillur Rahman thanked Saima Hossain for her continuous efforts in Bangladesh and international level to tackle the problem of autism in children. Later Saima Hussain handed over a progress report of GAPH to the President.
