Again Zia Khan topic: 'suicide' claim in police charge sheet

The Dhaka Times Desk That topic again. Zia Khan Budding Indian film actress Zia Khan committed suicide after her family claimed she was murdered, but the police chargesheet claimed suicide.

After the death of Bollywood actress Zia Khan, her mother Rabia Khan has made this demand from the first. He also gave some evidence. The Mumbai police filed a charge sheet in the Andheri court on Wednesday, calling Zia's death a 'suicide' at a time when there was uproar across India over Zia Khan's death. The 447-page chargesheet also accused Jia's boyfriend Suraj Pancholi of abetting suicide. Indian legal experts have said that even if the charge is proven, Suraj will receive a light sentence.

It is to be noted that in June last year, the police recovered Zia's hanging body wrapped in a veil from her apartment in Mumbai. The police said in the initial investigation that the deterioration of relationship with Suruj was the cause of Zia's death. Zia's mother Rabia Khan claimed that her daughter was murdered. Rabia Khan said that the mark found on Zia's neck cannot be the mark of the veil. Moreover, there were several bruises and blood stains on his lips and hands. The police report, however, denied it. It is claimed that the scar on Zia's neck is from her muslin veil. Rabia Khan, however, refused to accept such arguments of the police. His lawyer Dinesh Tiwari also said that they will go to the Bombay High Court next week.
