Yesterday evening, the power outage occurred during the opening ceremony of the special documentary 'Light and Sound Show' made with light and sound at the historic Lalbagh Fort in Old Dhaka of the capital. According to media sources, 10 officials and employees of Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) have been temporarily suspended due to this. A 3-member investigation committee has been formed in this incident.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the documentary program at Lalbagh Fort on Friday evening. At that time, in the presence of the Prime Minister, an incident like a power outage took place. The show was halted several times due to technical glitches in the Prime Minister's presence at the launch of the documentary. As a result, everyone present felt uncomfortable.
