The Dhaka Times Desk People have built houses on trees for different needs. These are called tree houses. Recently, a round tree house was built in the shape of a spaceship.
British design firm Lumin-Air created this unique tree house. Experts from several scientific disciplines were used to build the house, including balloon and spacecraft research teams, noise control research teams, and construction engineering teams, among others. In essence, this tree house has been created by a team of experts from various departments of science, combining modern facilities yet in harmony with nature.
It looks round. Its frame is made of lightweight aluminum. So it is very easy to carry and install. It is very comfortable due to its lightweight structure and added convenience. Being round, it distributes the load better and prevents slipping in rain. At the same time, this house is very effective in preventing heavy showers and rainwater during rainy days.
It is covered with hand made cotton fabric. The diameter of this tree house is 3 meters which can easily accommodate two people. It has a small store room for storing things. It has small cooking stove, water heater, solar panel and under floor water tank.
