Ferdous Wahid's 'Story of Kusumpur' released

The Dhaka Times Desk Ferdous Wahid has come to the role of a director from a musician. His first film 'The Story of Kusumpur' is releasing this Friday.

Apart from directing, Ferdous Waheed also played an important role in this movie called 'Digant Acharya'.

In addition to directing, he will act in this movie the talented singer Ferdous Wahid. It is known that this film of his has been produced under the banner of his own production company Waheed Films. Today the film is releasing in 13 theaters across the country.

'The Story of Kusumpur' is based on the story of a Hindu landlord family. It will be seen in the story of the film, a conflict starts between two brothers of a family over the division of property. Blinded by the greed of wealth, the younger brother after killing the father plans to kill the elder brother as well. On learning such a situation, the elder brother ran away with his family. Unfortunately his only son, Raja, was lost. Raja grows up and finds his father. Then she comes to know that the man she loves, Maina's father is actually her younger uncle. Palash, Jasmine, Moumita, Kazi Raju, Badal, Shirin Alam and Anis Chowdhury are playing the lead roles in this film.

The music of this movie is composed by Ferdous Wahid's son Habib Wahid, a musician of this generation. Apart from Habib, Ferdous Waheed, Sabina Yasmin, Nancy and Kona have sung songs in this film.

It should be noted that Ferdous Wahid acted as a hero for the first time in the film 'Voyankar Badmash' directed by Abul Hossain Khokon in 1998. In it, the heroine Babita was opposite him. Then Ferdous Wahid made his debut as a director in 2004. After that he produced action-adventure telefilms called 'Dangerman', 'Durant Abhiyan', 'Qaidi' produced by famous musician Ferdous Wahid.
