Buffaloes are not seen at all now. If you go to the village, you may see one or two. But at one time this buffalo used to do the work of the farmer starting from plowing the car. But this buffalo is going to disappear in the hole of time.
Buffalo has a reputation as a harmless animal. Because we have seen that the buffalo does not make any 'rao' even if it is very close. There is absolutely no anger or hatred in the buffalo. We have seen this since childhood. But that innocent animal buffalo is gradually disappearing from our midst. Because buffaloes are no longer needed in the villages. Due to modern machinery including power tillers, buffaloes are not appreciated anymore. Now there is no need to pull the car and all the modern equipments are used in halchas too. In such a situation, our past tradition of buffalo is disappearing. If you still want to keep them as a past tradition, you can sustain them by farming buffaloes. Because buffalo milk is very nutritious. Let us try at least once to protect this innocent animal buffalo.
