Sources from the Ministry of Lands have informed that the development of customized software has already started with the aim of paying land rent, registration fee etc. online. The first pilot project will be taken up only after the software is completed and it will start from Baridhara in Dhaka.
Director General of Land Records and Survey Directorate regarding the whole project MA Mannan He said, "We have already undertaken the project to give the people of the country the opportunity to carry out various land-related tasks online. We have a pilot project in this regard which is progressing rapidly. We are of Dhaka only if software is made Baridhara From now on, we will be able to give the public an opportunity to view the land design online along with online land survey, rent payment and registration fee.”
He also said, "In order to help all the people of the country in various matters related to land, the registrar book-2 of the tehsil office of each upazila of the country will be computerized. After that the online method will be launched in its own software. Registration fees for various fields including sale and purchase of land, deeds, contracts can also be paid online.”
Besides, under land digitization, one lakh 15 thousand maps of CS and SA survey have been computerized so far out of two lakh four thousand Mauza maps. To expand this process, the concerned department has already started digitalizing 89,000 maps of more RS surveys of the country. Now anyone can collect the land map of his house within 15 minutes by paying a fee of just 310 taka.
The Ministry of Land is very aware of getting all benefits of land from one place, the Ministry of Land is already completing all the processes of transfer of land registration from the Ministry of Law to the Ministry of Land. Once this process is completed, the process of registration along with land registration will be much faster within a few days and there will be no need to carry papers to two ministries.
Meanwhile, many people concerned think that if all facilities related to land are given online, the opportunities for corruption and long-term expenses of brokers and corrupt people will be reduced a lot.
