Discovery of dengue vaccine

Dengue deaths are also occurring in Bangladesh every year.

It is known that this Aedes mosquito grows more in the equatorial region than in the main winter countries. Therefore dengue outbreak is seen in our country. Mosquitoes are usually born in dirty and dirty water. But the Aedes mosquito is an exception in this case. There is no more danger if the affected person can be treated for dengue on time. But in this case, if it is delayed, the patient dies. The French pharmaceutical company Sanofi SA has been working for a long time to develop this dengue vaccine. Recently, their vaccine trial in Thailand has brought great success. They recently reported that their vaccine has been shown to be effective against three of the four types of dengue virus.

The French company Sanofi administered the vaccine to 4,000 children in Thailand between the ages of four and 11. While conducting these tests, they observed that the vaccine was effective against three of the four dengue viruses.

Note that there are four types of dengue virus. Sanofi officials are now conducting further tests. The French company has invested 350 million euros in the development of this vaccine over the past few years.

Not only in Thailand, but also in many countries in Asia and Latin America, Sanofi is conducting dengue prevention research. Apart from Sanofi, several other companies are working to develop a dengue vaccine. But this French company went ahead of them.
