Learn about three surprising plants

The Dhaka Times Desk Sometimes you have to be surprised to see the diversity of nature. This form of nature has evolved over billions of years. But many things are unknown to us. Today I will introduce you to three unknown trees.

Monkey Orchid, Rainbow Eucalyptus and Osiria Rose are three plants that many people may not have seen or heard of. They are a bit unusual, but fun and cute. They are very different from normal trees.

the monkey Orchid:
It is not right that only humans and other animals will have the appearance. Monkey orchids have flowers that match the appearance of monkeys. It is pale pink to red in color. It smells like a strong excrement, although many say it smells like ripe oranges. It flowers throughout the year. The flowers are 5 cm long. These orchids thrive in fairly cool climates and in shady locations.

It was unknown even a few days ago. In 1978 botanist Luer named it. He named it Dracula Simia. It got its name because it looks like a monkey and has long fangs like Dracula.

The monkey orchid is found in southeastern Ecuador and Peru. It has also been seen in Europe, Russia, Asia and Iran.

Scientifically known as Eucalyptus deglupta, this tree is a collection of many colors. It has a wide range of colors naturally. The bark changes from year to year. The inner bark is initially green. As it matures, its color changes to blue, then purple, then orange and finally maroon. The tree is evergreen. It is about 75 meters long.

This remarkable tree is used in the paper industry. It is also used as a beautifier. It is mainly found in the Northern Hemisphere especially in New Britain, Keram, Mindanao, New Guinea and Sulawesi.

Osiria Rose:
Rose attracts everyone. Osiria rose is beautiful as well as enchantingly fragrant. Its beautiful petals are dark red on the inside and silvery white on the outside. Osiria rose is a bicolor rose. The inside of the petals is very smooth and the outside is like satin. It looks artificially painted. This plant is upright, 4-6 feet tall. Flowering occurs between June and November. Osiria roses are deciduous, shedding their petals seasonally in full bloom and taking two to five years to fully shed.

Reimer Cordes first discovered it in Germany in 1978. Later Williams France introduced it to France under the name Osiria.

Osiria rose is propagated from wood and by grafting. It should be planted under the sun in a well-drained location. Dig a big hole and fill it with fertile soil. The roots of the tree should be placed in that hole and filled with soil and pressed. Water daily to get fully bloomed flowers.

Among the diversity of nature, these three wonderful trees may be insignificant. But due to their wonderful uniqueness, they catch people's eyes and minds very easily. If you see it in reality, you have to be really fascinated.
