Ireland-based retailer and international conglomerate Primark has announced an additional £6 million donation to victims of the Rana Plaza collapse in Savar and their families. As such, the victims of Rana Plaza will get Tk 78 crore 19 lakh 98 thousand 425. In a statement, Alan Duncan, Minister of State for UK Development, welcomed Primark's announcement of the funding.
In memory of the victims of the Rana Plaza collapse, various programs were celebrated in the United Kingdom on Thursday. Demonstrations have been held in front of famous brand businesses demanding compensation and rehabilitation of the injured.

Yesterday, April 24, in about 40 countries of the world, extensive programs were held in memory of the victims of Rana Plaza in Savar.
It is to be noted that Primark had previously given 9 million pounds to the victims of Rana Plaza. In terms of Bangladeshi Taka, the amount was 117 crore 29 lakh 97 thousand 63 Taka.
