NASA has developed a remote robot to deliver fuel to satellites

The Dhaka Times Desk NASA was in the process of building robots to repair and refuel satellites sent into space. The plan was that once these robots were sent into space, they would return to Earth to repair and refuel specific satellites. But NASA changed their plans. Now they are developing special robotic satellite refueling systems.

Satellite is playing a very important role as a means of communication in daily life. But without fuel they become immobile. Then bringing the satellites back to Earth and refueling them again is very expensive. So NASA came up with the 'Remote Robotics Oxidizer Transfer' technology that would deliver fuel to the satellite.

Since April 2011, NASA engineers have been working to develop robotic satellite servicing technologies to perform in-orbit inspections, repairs, refueling, component replacements, and servicing of spacecraft. Which is why a team at NASA from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, in collaboration with another team at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, has discovered this incredible technology that will extend the life of satellites, saving billions of dollars.

Goddard's Satellite Servicing Capabilities Office said remote-controlled robots will be able to refuel satellites in orbit that don't have refueling systems. Kennedy's Propulsion Supply System is part of this test.

The team from Goddard, on the other hand, sent a commercial robotic arm to Kennedy for testing. It was being controlled in Maryland, 800 miles away. It was accompanied by a satellite servicing capabilities office system. It can be fueled by a pin in the nozzle. The main problem in space is that there is no flow of liquids or gases as there is no gravitational acceleration. But with this technology, that barrier has been removed.

NASA's newly discovered technology will allow satellites to be repaired and refueled. As a result, the satellites can be used for a longer period of time.
