This time there has been a complaint of kidnapping of a businessman in Hathazari of Chittagong. A businessman named Hafizur Rahman was accused of kidnapping and his wife Kulsuma Razia filed a GD at Hathajari police station.
According to the complaint, Hafizur Rahman, the owner of Messrs. Mukta Trades of Hathazari town center, left his house at 8 am last Monday to go to the shop. His family became worried when he did not return home at night. His family mentioned in the GD that when a call is made to the mobile phone, it rings at first but is later found to be switched off. His wife Kulsuma failed to contact him again and again. After that yesterday, Tuesday, GD at Hathajari police station.
According to the GD, a few days ago a person claimed to get money from Hafizur by making a call from a mobile phone. If you want to know his identity, he tells you different addresses. Hafizur's family believes that he might have been abducted for money.
The matter is being investigated by the Thana police and the police have started to trace the businessman.
