Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy has rejected the application for permission for the public meeting on May 14.
Mayor Ivy told reporters at night, 'Due to the recent political situation in Narayanganj and the location where they are seeking permission, the BNP cannot be given permission because there is a hospital next to the road.' News media.
Meanwhile, BNP has also written a letter to the police for security in front of the Narayanganj City Corporation, seeking permission to hold a rally on Bangabandhu Road.
Narayanganj District BNP President Taimur Alam Khandkar told reporters, 'Currently the law and order situation in Narayanganj has collapsed. Incidents of disappearance and murder are happening one after another. In such a situation, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia wants to hold a rally on May 14.
