The Dhaka Times Desk 3 members of the same family were killed in a mountain collapse at Baralekha in Moulvibazar. The landslide happened on Saturday morning.
It is known that Baralekha Upazila of Moulvibazar district has received heavy rain since night. This tragic accident took place when the hill collapsed on the house of laborer Rajesh inside Shahbazpur tea garden due to rain. Laborer Rajesh (36), his wife Manju (30) and their 1-year-old daughter died on the spot when the hill collapsed.
Bangladesh News24 Online reported that both Rajesh and his wife Manju used to work as laborers in the Shahbazpur tea plantation. That's why they lived inside the garden.
