The Dhaka Times Desk 5 Bangladeshis killed in bus accident in Dubai According to media sources, at least 13 people were injured in the accident.
It is known that 5 Bangladeshi workers were killed in a road accident yesterday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. A total of 16 people were killed in that accident. 5 of them are Bangladeshis.
Ministry of Expatriate Welfare has confirmed the identity of 4 persons. They are Masud Dhali and Alamgir of Chandpur, Badrul Hasan of Sitakund Upazila of Chittagong and Md Nazrul Islam of Jaintapur Upazila of Sylhet.
AKM Mizanur Rahman, the first secretary of Bangladesh posted in Dubai, told the media, describing the accident, 'They were all going to work by bus from the camp. There were 29 passengers in the bus. The accident occurred when a truck collided head-on on the way. Those Bangladeshis were killed. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. Out of the 13 injured, 8 are Bangladeshis.
