The Dhaka Times Desk Facebook is going to add a new feature in knowing the relationship status of friends. This feature allows a user to query their friend's relationship status. Facebook believes that this feature will increase the sincerity of communication between friends. But various tech experts say this could lead to more confusion among friends.
Facebook is adding an Ask button to the relationship status. Users' relationship statuses previously showed single, engaged or in-a-relationship or with whom they are in a relationship. But currently the text Ask will be displayed here. As a result, a user can ask his friend why he is single or how his girlfriend or boyfriend is doing. It will not appear on the user's personal profile page, anyone who wants to view the user's profile will see it. A user must be a friend of another user to ask this question.
The user will get a relationship list in his friend request that he wants to reply to his friend's question. The list includes single, in a relationship, engaged, married and in an open relationship. Based on this request, the user can share his relationship status with each other. Facebook thinks that the field of online dating will expand with this relationship ask question. A large group of online dating through Facebook felt that this arrangement should have been done earlier.
But a section of technologists feels that it will create a negative situation in complicated relationships. Many will want to stay away from this ask question. This Ask button is already appearing on desktop and mobile versions. But the positional perspective of the relationship with this button is still new. It will be shown together all over the world very soon.
