Archaeologists have found a thousand-year-old tablet computer!

The Dhaka Times Desk Archaeologists recently found a thousand-year-old tablet computer-shaped device in the Yenikapi area of Turkey. About 37 ancient ships have been discovered at this site near Istanbul. This tablet shaped device was found while researching these ships.

According to the Discovery Channel, the present Yenkapi area of Turkey was known as the Theodosius Port of the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius in the fourth century. This tablet computer-like device found at the site is thought to have been an essential navigational tool of the time. The head of the archaeological research team said, this device was beautifully wrapped with cloth. Although the device is seven inches in size, it is very thick. The research team also believes that it is an important device used by the ship's captain to navigate the sea.

According to the discovery, it is also known that one panel is attached to the set of five rectangles. Each panel measures seven inches. The panels are framed and covered with wax. The panels may contain notes but are thought to be written in Greek. At the bottom of the panel appears a portion of a device that appears to be an app at the time. Discovery thinks this discovery will give us an idea of the technology of the time.
