The Dhaka Times Desk Ensuring clean water is another essential element for human survival. But currently, fresh water sources around the world are slowly drying up. In such a situation, a big question is that what will mankind do in the next year or the next decade or the next century?
When we face this period, the first question that confronts us is its purity. As a professor at Columbia University points to that very question, there are many avenues of deception around this very fact all around us. The consequences of cheating will be painful. One such issue is global water conservation. As the polar ice melts, sooner or later we will be lost under this water. But the Columbia University professor says we need to find effective ways to reduce our water consumption, and we need to have more efficient irrigation systems where freshwater sources and stored water resources are less expensive. Due to this shortage of irrigation water, farmers in many countries around the world work hard to produce good crops, they wait for the rains. But due to lack of rains they do not get good results from their crops.
The professor also said that rainwater is a source that we can store as clean water for food. Because rainwater is renewable. And most of it is naturally refined. However, as a result of the increasing world population, people will have to face this problem more. Whether it is today or tomorrow, people will see the horrors of the lack of clean water.
