This mosque is Atiya Masjid in Tangail. It is a historical mosque. This mosque was built on the eastern side of the river called Laujong, southwest from Tangail town. There is a huge pond next to this Atiya mosque.
The area of this mosque is 69 feet in length and 40 feet in width. The minarets of this mosque are decorated and finished with dome shape. According to the inscriptions of the mosque, Sayed Khan Panni son of Bayezid Khan Panni built this mosque in honor of Shah Baba Kammiri in 1608 AD. The construction of this mosque was completed in 1609 AD.
To see this historical mosque you have to go to Tangail. You can visit this historical mosque on any Friday to pray.
