The Dhaka Times Desk Ashulia's Nishchintapur garment fire incident has raised many questions about whether it was a real fire or a planned murder. The online news of various news organizations has given the same impression.
The local police did not take the incident at Tazreen Fashion Limited in Ashulia's Nishchintpur as a mere accident. They think it is a planned murder. The police have registered a case against unknown persons suspected to be involved in the incident. In addition to the death of 113 people, numerous workers were also accused of minor and serious injuries through arson.
The plaintiff in the case under Sections 323, 325, 436, 404-B and 34 of the Bangladesh Penal Code is Deputy Inspector (SI) of Ashulia Police Station Khairul Islam. The investigation of the case has been entrusted to Ashulia Police Station Inspector Investigation Mustafa Kamal.
In this regard, Dhaka Range Additional DIG Mizanur Rahman confirmed the case to BanglaNews and said, "Investigation of the case has started." Whoever started the fire, no matter how powerful, will be immediately arrested and brought to justice.” However, the police have not been able to arrest any of the suspects in this case so far.
By looking at the surrounding evidence, the police are fairly sure that this incident has been planned.
