The news also said that the court was supposed to hear Ashikim's punishment on Friday. But it has been postponed to June 30. If convicted, according to the law of the United States, the accused Ashikim can be sentenced to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to two and a half million dollars.

The indictment brought against Ashikim in the court in Austin, Texas, said that Ashikim had been involved in recruiting members for militant groups through the Internet for a long time. In early 2011, Ashikim contacted a US intelligence source on the Internet. From that they started the investigation.
