The Dhaka Times Desk The frenzy that was going on around the world about the World Cup has almost come to an end. Brazil and Germany won the first two matches of the quarter finals. Both these teams are facing each other in the semis.

Last night Germany faced France in the first match of the quarter finals. Germany beat France 1-0 in that game and advanced to the semis. Germany is presenting the most interesting game in this World Cup. Although there are very few German fans in Bangladesh outside of Argentina and Brazil. But if there is no Brazil or Argentina, in that case Germany will be supported by the audience of Bangladesh.

The second match of the quarter finals will be held at 2 pm. In that match, Brazil defeated Colombia 2-1 and advanced to the semi-finals. And so Brazil and Germany are facing each other in the semi finals. On the other hand, the winner of tonight's match between Argentina and Belgium will play the winner of the match between Costa Rica and Netherlands in the last quarter-final at 2 pm.
