Panic spread in the area after 93 Gokra snakes were recovered from the abandoned house of Ruhul Amin in Sultanpur Mohalla of Mirpur Municipality in Kushtia last Wednesday evening. This fear is said to be because the mother of the baby snakes could not be rescued. A chicken was bitten by a snake in that house on Tuesday afternoon, causing panic among the members of the house. Then the search began. At one point an Ojha was called for Dadrul Namaz on Wednesday. A team of Ojha came and rescued the 93 baby gokhras from the abandoned house. Later, the rescued snakes were taken to Ojha.
Ruhul Amin said, even after taking the sapure children for petting, our fear is not over at all. Because the baby's mother could not catch the snake. Everyone is now afraid if the gokhra snake attacks the children without getting them. Not only the people of that house, but the entire locality are now spending their days in fear.
