Dhaka Times Desk But the term hacking is not new anymore. Recently, Indian Border Guard Force has hacked the BSF's side and the world has become a storm of discussion.
This hacking term came up as 'Facebook Hacking'.
Social media Facebook has been repeatedly hacked since its inception. Therefore, Facebook authorities announced to organize 'Hacker Cup' from last year to make Facebook more secure. The main theme of the competition is to try to break their safety net. Facebook authorities named this competition 'Hacker Cup Challenge'.
Mitrychev, a Russian Google employee, won the title of the best hacker after beating nearly 1,500 competitors in the first Challenge Cup. Facebook has organized the Hacker Cup competition for the second time to find all the famous hackers in the world. In this context, Facebook software engineer David Alvas wrote in a published post, hacking is an important part of security, which helps us to build Facebook appropriately. When we design a major product like Timeline it's hackathon based. And for this we create advanced search algorithms and tearing down walls. Always trying to discover the most advanced methods to solve problems through hacking. The final phase of the competition, which started in January this year, will be held in March.
Only 25 people will be nominated to participate in the final stage of the competition held at Facebook's headquarters in the United States. And for this they have to initially prove their programming skills in at least five rounds. Then there will be three more rounds online. The authorities will announce the best hacker of the year after verifying everything. The best hacker will get $5,000 and the second and third place winners will get $4,000 and $3,000 respectively. And everyone else will get 100 dollars.
