But the funny thing is that two years ago, they met on the sands of a beach in Cornwall on a holiday even though they didn't know each other and even their families were strangers to them. This was discovered from a childhood photo of Nick Wheeler.
Nick Wheeler, who lives with his family in Kent, occasionally visits his grandfather's house in Cornwall. There was a beautiful beach very close to his grandfather's house. Nick visited here with his family every summer vacation. And visiting here means visiting the sea. Service was no exception. Nick and his family, including his cousins and their families, all went on a trip to the beach in Cornwall. This time visiting the beach is Amy Maiden and her family, Amy's home town in Cornwall. Nick built a sand boat with his cousins and they were having fun sitting there. Then her grandfather felt that this beautiful moment needed to be framed so he took a picture of them all. Coincidentally, Amy Maiden was caught in that picture. Sitting some distance away, he was building a sandcastle with his cousins. Little Amy never knew how close her future love was! And Nick may have seen this picture many times but never thought that the person he loves is still with him. Then almost 20 years passed. Many summers have passed. Little Nick and Amy have grown up. Nick may not have noticed that little Amy sitting next to the picture for so long.
Nick Wheeler, a soldier in the Army, and Amy Maiden, a grade school teacher, meet after entering college. After college, Nick went to work in the army and Amy to her school. But this summer they decided to get married. Last Saturday, Nick Wheeler married Amy after 11 years of love. After the wedding, Nick goes through various memories and photo albums from his past and discovers that they saw each other 20 years ago. Amy recognizes herself as Nick shows her the picture her grandfather took. He shouts, hey it's me!! 'I was behind them in a blue swimsuit with my parents and sister,' added an excited Amy. Then the whole story unfolds to each other. When the couple was photographed in 1994, they lived hundreds of miles apart. No one knew anyone.
Then coincidentally, they met 11 years later while studying in college. At one stage it takes shape as a result. Finally they decide that they will get married. The couple got married on Saturday at Golval Church in Mousehole, Cornwall, after 20 years at the same place. They also took pictures together again at that place of the picture.
