Shoulder pain or frozen shoulder can occur in people with long-term diabetes, shoulder injuries, or sprains or tears in shoulder muscles. Sometimes neck problems like spondylitis, shoulder dislocation can also cause shoulder pain.

Treatment:
Medicines usually include painkillers and steroid injections. As the medicine has side effects, you must consult a doctor.
Physiotherapy:
Physiotherapy is the modern treatment of this disease without side effects. Consult a physiotherapist for this treatment. Common treatments for frozen shoulder include IFT, ultrasound therapy, electromagnetic radiation, various mobilizing exercises, manipulation, etc.
Advice:
You can apply hot compresses on the painful area. But no massage can be done. Exercise regularly as prescribed by the doctor. Do not sleep on the side where the joint is problem. Do not pull heavy objects. If you have diabetes, keep it under control.
