On the same night, the detectives did not open their mouth about the arrest of two people from Munshiganj and Fatulla area of Narayanganj, near the capital. Citing sources, Daily Yugantar said that the house of the youth arrested from Fatulla in Narayanganj is in Marufdi village of Sonargaon. Based on the information given by him, detectives are conducting one operation after another. However, Metropolitan Police spokesperson DC-DB Monirul Islam said that no information has been found to make a final decision in the investigation. An attempt is being made to reach a conclusion by verifying the information received.
Meanwhile, a mystery has been created about a website called Energy Bangla of Sagar Sarwar. Recently someone deleted all the information from Sagar Sarwar website. The website had a lot of information related to the country's energy. Curiosity spread among everyone as these information suddenly disappeared. Many are skeptical about whether there is any energy-related factor in Sagar-Rooney's murder. Because both Sagar and Rooney used to cover the energy bit. On the other hand, on Saturday, various articles were updated sporadically on the website. Detectives are looking into who or who made this information disappear and is updating it.
Dainik Jugantar also reported quoting intelligence sources related to the investigation that the issue of theft and robbery was investigated along with several other motives. However, due to the lack of any significant information, the investigation related to theft-robbery was stopped. Nowsher Alam Roman, brother of the deceased Meherun Rooney, said that on February 23, he came to know about the disappearance of all the information from the website (www.energybangla.com). He immediately reported the matter to RAB and DB officials. Besides, the manuscript work for the second volume of Sagar's book 'Ami Karnelke Sehi' on the hilly areas was almost completed. The manuscript may contain any information that will cause serious harm to any community. He had this manuscript on his personal laptop. He said that the laptop was lost on the night of the incident. An official of the detective police said that after learning about the website, the matter is being investigated.
