Siddharth Nath Singh also said, 'This makes it clear how Sarada Group money has been smuggled into Bangladesh in bags and the activities of BSF have been controlled by the newly elected Trinamool Congress MP Ahmed Hasan Imran.' Quoting newspaper reports, he further said, 'Mamata's relationship with Sarada Group is very old. This relationship dates back to 2010 when he was the Railway Minister. Using that money, he won the 2011 assembly elections and 2014 Lok Sabha elections.' He said, 'If Mamata Banerjee was innocent, she would have denied these things and filed a defamation case against the media houses.' However, Trinamool MP Hasan denied this and said, 'He has no connection with that organization. He also filed a case against BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh.'
