After Syria and Iraq, now the Islamic State (IS) is going to expand its network in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. According to media reports, IS leaflets are also being distributed in some cities in India-Pakistan. Again in Bangladesh, the membership campaign is going on. Khabar Bangladesh News24.

Citing a news from the news agency Reuters, the media also said that the activities of IS are being observed in some cities of Pakistan and India recently. Pamphlets are being distributed openly in Pakistan's Peshawar and Afghan border areas. IS 'stickers' were also seen on several cars. Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have so far dominated Islamic militant organizations in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Analysts believe that the recent inactivity of the Taliban and al-Qaeda has encouraged IS to expand its network in the region.

According to media reports, a 12-page IS leaflet was distributed in Peshawar, Pakistan. In the logo of the pamphlet entitled 'Fatah' or 'Vijay', the picture of AK-47 assault rifle is used. IS supporters are going to ordinary people's houses and local mosques with that leaflet. Recently, their activity is also noticeable in the Afghan refugee camps. Samiullah Hanifi, an imam of a mosque in Peshawar, told Reuters he saw militants distributing the leaflets from the militant group Islamic Caliphate. Besides, some young people who are not well known in that area were also seen to be involved in this activity.

On the other hand, there have been reports of IS activities in India-occupied Kashmir, Mumbai, and even Kolkata in the state of West Bengal. In Kashmir on June 27 and then on Eid-ul-Fitr, some Muslim youth raised slogans in favor of IS and against India's rule in Kashmir. A few days ago, four Muslim families in India's commercial city of Mumbai informed the police about the sudden disappearance of their children. It is said that one of the missing persons wrote a note while leaving home saying that he was going to fight to 'defend Islam'. Later it is known that 4 youths allegedly went to Iraq with Tablighi Jamaat. After going there, they disappeared again. The youths have gone to the IS-held city of Mosul and one of them is believed to have already been killed in the fighting.

Meanwhile, police arrested 4 youths in Kolkata last week. Out of these 4 people, two are students of engineering college. A Times of India report said that the four arrested were preparing to travel to Bangladesh to join IS. The newspaper also said that IS recruitment operation has already started in Bangladesh.
