It was announced that all flight operations of United Airways will be stopped from today Thursday by holding a press conference at the head office of Airways in Uttara on Wednesday evening at 7 pm. United Airways staff said the flight would not be possible due to financial reasons, including lack of fuel and in-flight meals. The airline's Head of Marketing - Aftab, Director Flight Operations - Captain Ilyas, Captain Waheed, Director Administration Wing Commander (retd) Ferdous, Director Customer Service Farhad and senior officials were present in that press conference.

It is known that two directors of Airways have already resigned, unable to control the ongoing situation. The resignation of United Airways Chairman and Managing Director Captain Tasbirul Ahmed Chowdhury led to extreme mismanagement of the airline. Which eventually took the form of closure.

In the press conference, it was demanded to appoint an efficient and qualified person as managing director of the company to manage the airlines immediately.
