Now the situation has changed. Now with the touch of modernity, mudri is no longer fried in those traditional ways. Now the mudri is fried with the help of machine. But at one time, mudri was fried like this. Rice boiled in a kadai was fried with unone (soaked in salt water) with a broom of khil. After a while, if the rice was shaken in the heated sand in an earthen pot, the rice would swell up and become curdled. This is the traditional way of making mudri. Even if you go to the village, you can see this mudri fried.
