Popular TV and film comedian Tele Samad is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital due to serious illness. He has been kept in the Capital's Square Hospital Coronary Care Unit (CCU). He is undergoing treatment under the supervision of Kamal Pasha, Associate Consultant, Interventional Cardiology Department of the hospital.
About the latest condition of Tele Samad, Kamal Pasha said, 'Tele Samad is under treatment in our hospital in a serious condition due to heart disease. Apart from this, he also has kidney, nerve and diabetes problems.'
According to hospital sources, 'Tele Samad's left leg may have to be amputated due to gangrene in his left big toe.' Doctors said that surgery for gangrene has become necessary. Otherwise there is a risk of it spreading. It is said that the decision was taken to expedite the surgery with the consent of the family members.
His family has requested prayers for Tele Samad.
It is to be noted that on Friday evening Tele Samad was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka due to a heart attack. When his condition worsened, he was admitted to Square Hospital. 3 months ago, his body underwent the first bypass in the United States. He returned to the country on September 27.
