The Dhaka Times Desk Ahsan Habib Ashiq, a second year HSC student of Adamji Cantonment College, who is undergoing treatment at CMH, is currently battling with death after being injured in a road accident. Prayers have been requested for Ashiq's recovery.
On Friday, October 24, Ashiq went to Bashundhara City to buy a mobile phone with his friends. He also performed Friday prayers there. On his way back, he was hit by a Shikhar Paribahan bus at 2.20 pm near Star Kabar in Kawran Bazar. Ashiq fell 10/12 hands away. His friends first admitted him to Al Raji Hospital and later to Lab Aid Hospital. After staying there for a day, he was admitted to Combined Military Hospital CMH last Saturday afternoon. Ashiq, a brilliant student of Adamji College, is currently undergoing treatment in the ICU there.

Ashiq is the younger of two siblings. Her elder sister is a final year medical student. College authorities and students of the college are very worried about this talented student of Adamji Cantonment College. Everyone throngs the hospital to catch a glimpse of Ashiq.

Ashiq's father Mujahidul Islam told The Dhaka Times that he vomited after the accident. He was hit on the head. His friends first admitted him to Al Raji Hospital and later to Lab Aid Hospital. Later I was informed. Ashiq is currently undergoing treatment at CMH and his condition is critical. Blood clots in the respiratory tract. Ashiq's brain cells are damaged. He was put on life support. He said, only God can save my son. He requested everyone's prayers for his son.
