The Dhaka Times Desk Jamaat-e-Islami has called a morning-evening strike across the country on Thursday. The party called the strike on the day of the verdict in the case against Jamaat Naib Amir Maulana Delawar Hossain Saeedee on charges of crimes against humanity.
The verdict in the case of Jamaat Naib Ameer Delawar Hossain Saeedee accused of crimes against humanity will be delivered on Thursday. International Criminal Tribunal-1 made the announcement on Wednesday at 12:27 PM, chaired by Chairman Justice ATM Fazle Kabir, the three-member tribunal set the judgment day.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Tribunal-1 fixed Thursday for Saeedi's verdict. After receiving this news, the news of the hartal was confirmed by the Jamaat's Publicity Office on Wednesday afternoon.
It should be noted that Jamaat had earlier called a strike on the day of the verdict of Abdul Quader Mollah, assistant secretary of Jamaat.
