Today, the primary and secondary school final exams have started across the country. The concerned ministry has already taken the necessary preparations to conduct the examination in a fair, cheating-free and orderly environment. The exam will be held from 11 am to 1.30 pm. Students with disabilities have been allotted an additional 20 minutes for the completion of primary education. This time also the result will be published in grading system.
This year the number of potential candidates in the preliminary final is 27 lakh 99 thousand 613 people. On the other hand, 3 lakh 11 thousand 265 students are expected to give the exam in Ibtedayi.
Rabindranath Roy, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, said that the probable date of publication of the results of primary and compulsory education final examination has been fixed on December 28. Passed students will be given certificates on January 20. It is known that the answer sheet of one upazila will be sent to another upazila for evaluation. This final examination was started from 2009 for the fifth class students. And in Ibtedayi this test started in 2010. For the first two years, department-wise results were given, but from 2011, the results are being given on the grading system. Earlier, the duration of this exam was increased by half an hour to two and a half hours from last year.
It is to be noted that last year from November 20, 2013 to November 28, the final examination of primary and secondary education was held. A total of 29 lakh 50 thousand 193 students participated that year.
