The second largest mosque in the world is Iran's Imam Reza Shrine Mosque (Imām Reza shrine) Mosque is located in Mashhad, Iran.
It is known in history that this mosque was built in 818. There are tombs of eight Imams including Imam Ridha with this mosque. The total area of the mosque is 6443890 square feet including the main part of 598657 square meters. The mosque has a capacity of 7,00,000 people.
