The Dhaka Times Desk The level of violence around the world is increasing day by day. At least 5,000 people have been killed in a month of jihadist violence in November, at a rate of 7 people every hour.

Jihadi violence is increasing day by day. Peace loving people of the world are very worried about this issue. According to media reports, a recent survey showed that at least 5,000 people were killed in jihadist violence worldwide in the month of November alone.

According to the results of a recently published study conducted by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), 80 percent of these 5 thousand were killed in the 4 countries most affected by jihadist violence: Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Syria.

International Center for the Study of Radicalization also known as ICSR. Research conducted in collaboration with this organization recorded 664 jihadist attacks in 14 terror-prone countries in November.

According to the BBC, the investigation was carried out to highlight the number of victims of jihadist violence in a month, and what is the real picture of such violence. The study found that nearly 7 people were killed every hour in November in violence by Al Qaeda or similar groups that originated from the sect.

According to the findings, an average of 22 such attacks occurred every day. It is said that 168 people have been killed. At least more than 2,000 people have been killed by the Islamic State (IS) militants fighting in Syria and Iraq alone. According to one estimate, a total of 5,042 people were killed in November. Of which 2,079 are civilians, 1,723 are military and about 1,000 are militants.

According to the report, most of them were killed in Iraq. Most of the attacks happened in Iraq. A third of the total were killed in Iraq.

Next is Nigeria. Many people were killed there too. The jihadist group Boko Haram has been blamed for these killings in the country. On the other hand, Afghanistan is in the third place. Taliban violence has turned this country into a deadly country. But in spite of the civil war and the high level of activity of IS, Syria has been killed relatively less than other countries.

Every sensible person in the world thinks that the militant organizations responsible for these acts of violence in the name of Islam should be given an opportunity to understand the matter. If they realize that what they are doing is not Islamist, then they will definitely come out of these terrors one day.
