The Dhaka Times Desk Bangladeshi film Murad Parvez's 'Brihannala' has been nominated for the Jaipur Film Festival of India. This festival will be held from February 1 to 5 next year.
It has been reported that Murad Parvez's film 'Brihannala' has been selected in the competition section of the Jaipur International Film Festival in India. The seventh edition of this event will be held in Jaipur from February 1 to 5 next year.
Expressing his feelings on being selected for the Jaipur festival, Murad Pervez said, 'I am proud, besides it is positive for our domestic film industry.'
Even before 'Brihannala', Darpan participated in the film festival held in Singapore. The film, produced with government funding, Hawker and ATN Bangla, was released on September 19. Agniveena has released the song album of 'Brihannala' in the market. It has total 4 songs. All the songs are composed and music directed by Eamon Saha. Voiced by Kana, Devleena Sur and India's Rituraj Sen. 3 songs are written by Kabir Bakul and one song is written by Debalena.
Apart from hero Ferdous, actress Sohana Saba also starred Intekhab Dinar, Azad Abul Kalam, Manas Bandyopadhyay, Dilara Zaman, Inamul Haque, Jhuna Chowdhury, KS Feroze, SM Mohsin, Abdullah Rana, Shahana Sumi and others.
It is to be noted that this is the second film of Murad Parvez, who made his debut as a director on the big screen with the film 'Chandrarikma'. His first film 'Chandramikma' won National Film Awards in several categories.
