What happens to the body gradually after death

We know that after death, the body slowly decomposes. But we do not know what physical changes take place from death to decomposition or in what process decomposition begins in the dead body.

Medical science says, 'Declaration of death does not mean that every cell in the body has died. When the heart stops breathing, the cells don't get oxygen. And then when oxygen is cut off, the muscles begin to relax. Immediately the intestines and bladder also start emptying.'

The researchers said, 'even when the body is practically dead, the 100 trillion bacteria living in the gut, skin or other parts of the body are still alive. These 100 trillion bacteria work behind everything that happens inside the body after death.

One thing we do not fully understand is what changes the body undergoes first after death. The first thing that happens is that the body temperature drops at a rate of 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit per hour until algor mortis (the body temperature) reaches room temperature.

According to the research report, livor mortis or lividity in this case is the accumulation of blood and fluid in the lower part of the body. And so the actual color of the corpse's skin gradually changes. At one point it takes on a dark purple-blue color.

The report also states that in rigor mortis, the muscles gradually become stiff due to excessive calcium excretion from the body. This condition lasts from 24 to 48 hours. At this time, however, many eyes are open.

According to the research report, the body then begins to decompose. When blood circulation stops, carbon dioxide formation begins. And so the acid level increases. Due to which the cells of the dead body break down. In 2 to 3 days the body starts to decompose. Bacteria and microorganisms in the digestive tract can spread to other parts of the body. During the dead body, the lower abdomen turns green and gas is produced in it. Under its pressure, the excreta of the body is extracted.

The report also states that when organic compounds such as putrescine and cadaverine spread intravenously, corpses begin to smell. This smell is one of the characteristics of dead bodies. Then the color of the body becomes black from all sides in the process of necrosis. Due to the stench created by the dead body, various insect-eating insects are attracted to it. These insects and spiders use corpses as food. Then slowly the lifeless corpse gradually leaves the flesh-skin shell and turns into a skeleton. In this way, the dead body rushes towards an end.
