Happy's writ to exclude Rubel from the cricket team is dismissed

The Dhaka Times Desk Happy's writ in the High Court to exclude Rubel from the cricket team was dismissed. Actress Nazneen Akhter Happy wrote this petition asking for the exclusion of cricketer Rubel from the World Cup team and national team.

Actress Nazneen Akhter Happy had requested to exclude cricketer Rubel Hossain from the World Cup team and the national team. The writ filed by him was dismissed by the High Court. The High Court bench of Justice Kazi Reza-ul Haque and Justice Abu Taher Md. Saifur Rahman dismissed the writ yesterday afternoon on January 6.

Md. Yunus Ali Akand, who filed the writ on behalf of Badini Happy, was not present during the hearing and the writ was dismissed. However, cricketer Rubel Hossain and his lawyer Moniruzzaman Asad were present in the court.

It is to be noted that actress Nazneen Akhter Happy filed a writ in the High Court on January 5, requesting to exclude cricketer Rubel Hossain from the World Cup cricket team and the national team. On his behalf, his lawyer Md. Yunus Ali Akand filed a writ in the relevant branch of the High Court.
