Although the release of many films has been delayed due to political unrest, Mahi's new film 'Romeo Versus Juliet' is releasing in Bengal on the same day. This India-Bangladesh joint production film is going to release on February 16.
Produced under the banner of India's SK Movies and Bangladesh's Jazz Multimedia, this film is jointly directed by India's Ashok Pati and Bangladesh's Abdul Aziz. The premiere show of the film will be shown at Blockbuster Cinemas in the capital on February 13 at 5 pm.
Abdul Aziz said, 'Due to political instability, there is a risk. But doesn't seem risky to me. The film is being released after considering judgment from various aspects. Hopefully, the audience will accept.'
The movie 'Romeo Versus Juliet' has Bangladesh's current busiest actress Mahia Mahi and India's Ankush playing the title role. Meanwhile, the film's trailer and song have also aired on two Bengali TV channels. This is the belief of the production company that the film will be well received by the audiences of both Bengals.
