Rubel applied to the court for permission to go abroad. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Rashed Talukder's court granted Ruble's application.
Rubel's lawyer Barrister Moniruzzaman Asad said, 'Ruble's name is in the World Cup cricket team. When it was requested that he should go abroad, the court took everything into consideration and granted this order. He also said that the court waived him to appear in person while he was abroad and ordered him to appear through a lawyer.
It is to be noted that model and actress Nazneen Akhtar Happy filed a case against Rubel in Mirpur Police Station under the Women's Torture Act on December 13. Rubel is currently on bail.
