The Dhaka Times Desk The members of Bangladesh Film Directors Association protest against the screening of Hindi films by stopping the shooting. The crew of the film is protesting by stopping the shooting of the under-production film 'Black Money' from Tuesday.

According to media sources, the Hindi film 'Wanted' is releasing in several theaters of the country next Friday. The Bangladesh Film Directors Association has announced the suspension of all activities related to the film, including shooting, in protest against the screening of foreign films. And as part of this protest, the crew of the film is protesting by stopping the shooting of the under-production film 'Black Money' from Tuesday.

It is known that the outdoor shooting of Simon, Moushumi Hamid and Kaya starrer 'Blackmoney' has started from January 13. In the first phase, some scenes were shot at Kaptai Lake in Rangamati. Currently, the shooting of this film is going on in different locations in Cox's Bazar. But suddenly the release date of Hindi movie 'Wanted' was announced in Bangladesh. Safi Uddin Safi, the director of the film 'Black Money', agreed with the decision of the directors' association and stopped the shooting.

It is to be noted that in protest against the release of the Hindi film 'Wanted', the Bangladesh Film Directors Association has started a strike from Tuesday. Until this problem is not resolved, it has been informed that the directors, artists and crew will remain on strike.
