According to media sources, a new film is going to be made around Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Kate Winslet will act in this film. Kate will be seen playing Joanna Hoffman, a former Macintosh marketing chief. Kate Winslet, the 39-year-old star of 'Titanic' fame, has already started preparing for this film in San Francisco.

For a long time, various things are being heard about this film. After much speculation, the film's production company Universal Pictures has officially released the cast list. Actor Michael Fassbender is playing the role of Jobs.

On the other hand, Catherine Waterston will play the role of Chrisann Brennan, Jobs' ex-lover. Michael Stahlberg will play one of the Mac makers and Jeff Daniels will play Apple's former CEO. And three actresses Mackenzie Moss, Ripley Sobo and Perla Haney Jardine will play Jobs' daughter Lisa in different ages.

'Slumdog Millionaire' fame director Danny Boyle will direct the film. Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay based on Walter Isaacson's 2011 autobiography. The film follows Jobs' announcement of the Mac, the Next Computer, and the Apple iMac.

It should be noted that Winslet, who rose to fame by playing Titania, was last seen in the movie 'Divergent' last year. He will also be seen in the new installment of this film 'Insurgent'. The film will release on March 20, 2015.
