Berkeley researcher Siddharth Srivastava of the United Technologies Research Center told the news media, "The concept of helper robots in the imagination such as cleaning the table, washing clothes or helping with daily tasks is about to become a reality."

At the Association for Advancement of Artificial Intelligence conference held in Texas, USA, a robot capable of cutting and washing clothes was shown.

It has been shown that the researchers have claimed to get the desired results by using this robot in the same way as humans sew clothes. The researchers claimed that 13 tasks related to sewing clothes were tested with this robot. And for that, the researchers got the expected results by adding artificial intelligence to the robot.
