Bangladesh finally lost against Malaysia in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup final today at the Bangabandhu Stadium. Even though it was tied at 2-2, in 3 minutes of extra time of the scheduled 90-minute game, a goal from the head of the Malaysian corner ball crushed the dream of Bangladesh's history. Bangladesh lost with the goal of Malaysian player Mohammad Faizat. Malaysia is the champion.
In the first half, Bangladesh was behind by 2-0 goals, but in the second half, Bangladesh players scored 2 goals in just a few minutes. Due to which there is great excitement among the spectators present in the stadium. In such a situation, Bangladesh dreams of winning the title. At one point, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina rushed to the stadium to encourage the footballers to play.
