The film was supposed to be released last December. The film was supposed to be released on December 19, but it was not due to various reasons. This time the date has been fixed. 'Ekattare Ma Janani' will release on Independence Day next month.
Actress Nipun said, 'The work of the film has been completed long ago. It was hoped that the audience will get a chance to watch the film based on the Liberation War in December last year. But I was upset because the film didn't release on schedule. Though late, the film is finally releasing ahead of Independence Day. I am very happy for that.'
Nipun won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress twice in 2007 for 'Sajghar' and 2009 for 'Chander Kait Bau'. Nippon's expectations for the film 'Ekattare Ma Janani' are very high - he said.
Nipun said, 'I am expecting something bigger for this film. This is because this time I played the main character. In the film, I had to portray a character of two ages. I was more apprehensive about the 60s part. I also rehearsed for a few days with makeup at my house before the start of shooting. After the release of the film, everyone will understand how much I had to suffer for the two roles.'
